A watercolor on paper titled The Interior Game by listed American artist Masood A. Wilbert Warren (1907-1995). The painting, captured in loose lines and washes, shows what appears to be the inside of a segregated army barracks. The title of the piece is handwritten to the lower left margin, along with the location ‘Walla Walla, Wash.’ and date ‘8-9-42.’ This piece is presented behind a white mat in a protective plastic sleeve. Warren was a painter and sculptor who was also a participant in the WPA program.
