A carved wood guardian lion from Indonesia. This figure is hand carved from tropical wood and depicts a guardian lion-like creature with an upturned face and recumbent figure. The carving features a white face with painted details, white legs and white details to the interior of the tail. The lion has a gold flower in his mouth as well as a golden embellished necklace on a generous black, geometrically carved body.
