Antique Italian Rococo Revival Style Marble Top Nightstands

Item Details

A pair of late 19th to early 20th century Italian Rococo Revival style marble top nightstands. Each walnut frame features an ornately-carved, scrolled-foliate crest, which is further embellished with a central cabochon, dentil-molding, and a band of shell motifs. Directly below is a rectangular panel centered by two stacked, angled shelves above a black limestone top. The rectangular, top rests on a single drawer over a cabinet door, which opens to a two-shelf interior. The floral-carved drawer front is fitted with a brass knob and each nightstand rises on a molded base ending in frontal, bun feet.
