Antique Louis XV Style Mirrored Sideboard

Item Details

An antique Louis XV style mirrored sideboard. This mahogany piece features a highly decorative upper half consisting of an arched, carved pediment above a large, central mirror surrounded by five smaller mirrors. The mirrors have beveled, undulating edges. There is an open shelf directly below the pediment as well as a pair of shelves flanking the large, central mirror. The lower section features three cabinets, the center of which has two glazed doors. The door are further embellished with shaped mullions and fitted with brass pulls. Within are velvet-lined shelves. The skirt is scalloped and carved, with shell and floral details and the sideboard rises on carved cabriole legs ending in scrolled feet.
