A collection of Native American-inspired art. Featured is an acrylic painting on chert depicting a teepee and evergreens against a mottled brown landscape. The piece is signed ‘Judith’ in graphite to the lower left. It is double matted in pink and presented with a brown feather under glass in a wooden frame that includes hanging wire to the verso. Also featured is an offset lithograph on paper after an illustration of a Native American woman riding a horse by listed American artist Carol Grigg (born 1942). The piece, from Grigg’s Southwestern Series, is double matted in grey and off-white and presented under glass in a cream wooden frame with a sawtooth hanger to the verso. The set also includes two 1993 limited edition commemorative ceramic plates with printed images after paintings by listed Brazilian-American artist Ozz Franca (1928-1991). The plates originate from the Navajo Visions Suite produced by Hadley House. Featured are Young Warrior, numbered as 2105 out of an edition of 9500, as well as Navajo Fantasy, numbered as 537 out of an edition of 9500. Each is signed in plate to the lower margin, as well as to the underside. The plates are for decorative use only and not intended for food use.
