Item Details
A pair of watercolor and oil paintings of Venice. These impressionist painting include a depiction of a docking scene, which is rendered with loose pools of oil paint on canvas in an autumnal color palette reinforced with black contour brushwork. Also included is a watercolor painting on paper of a canal between rustic Italian architecture, populated with people paddling on gondolas. To the lower corners of the composition is an artist signature, the former of which is illegible and contains a date of 1984, while the latter is signed ‘Rosy’. Both works are presented under glass in a cream or gold tone wooden frame with hanging hardware to the verso.

- watercolor painting: white frame has chips and stains; toning to watercolor paper; marks on matte; oil painting: black and gold frame has several chips and wear; yellow spot staining to top of canvas.
