A collection of hand painted Japanese porcelain tableware. Among the group is an assortment of Geisha Girl includes one large serving bowl, seven medium bowls, one medium footed bowl, one flat serving dish, one shallow handled serving bowl, and one lidded canister with handles. All pieces feature hand painted scenes of Japanese women wearing traditional attire in gardens and red trim around outer edges. Also among the group are four Nippon small footed bowls. Many pieces are marked ‘Made in Japan’.
Condition
- surface scratches consistent with use, loss of image in areas of extensive use, light tiny chips to some edges, loss of gold edging to some, sticker residue, no cracks
