A pair of artist proof embellished lithographs of Art Deco style portraiture by listed artist Mary Vickers. These two prints on paper include Krystal and Just for You, both of which depict women adorned in circa 1920 flapper clothing that has been embellished with gold tone beads, washes of paint and layers of glitter. They stand posted against a foliate and zebra-patterned background. To the lower margins is a handwritten artist signature, title and the initials ‘A/P’, which indicate these are artist proofs. The prints are presented under glass beneath decorative matting in a marbled white and black wooden frame with hanging wire and a certificate of authenticity from Renaissance Fine Arts to the verso.

Condition

- Krystal: tape residue to glass on lower right; wear to frame finish; Just for You: print is loose in frame; minor wear to frame finish; both could benefit from dusting.
