A K.T.A.S Danish crank telephone. This telephone produced by the Kjøbenhavns Telefon company of Denmark was produced in 1895 and is presented with a black carriage including a hand painted design of Cherubs to its side. The phone includes a crank to one sign with a rotary dial including black numerals, a red indicator light to its top with a silver tone placeholder for the receiver. The receiver is marked ‘L.M. Ericsson & Co Stockholm Patented Oct 29 1895 Made in Sweden’ and the top is marked ‘K.T.A.S’.

Condition

- untested, European plug; some discoloration and tarnishing to metal components; wear throughout consistent with age; fraying to cord; scratches throughout base; dust.
