A Wedgwood Edme china pieces. This lot of forty-two pieces includes ten salad plates, eleven bread/dessert plates, twelve saucers, eight expresso cups, and one sugar bowl with a lid. The off-white china features embossed ribbing to the sides and lips of the dishes. The plates are marked to the base, ‘Wedgwood – Edme – Made In England,’ with the model number marked in the surface. The sugar bowl lid is marked to underside, ‘Wedgwood – Embossed Queens Ware – Made In England – U.S.A. Patent August 1.1922.’
Condition
- consistent with age and usage; one bread/dessert plate heavily stained; one saucer has been repaired.
