A limited edition artist’s proof hand-embellished giclée print on canvas by listed American Pop artist Steve Kaufman (1960-2010). The piece depicts a Punch Cuban cigar in vibrant hues of yellow, red, white, brown and blue. The cigar is depicted held in-hand against an assemblage of imagery that includes the Punch logo. The cigar and logo include hand-painted embellishments in oil paint. The print is signed ‘SAK’ in black ink to the lower right, with an additional artist’s signature in black ink to the canvas verso. The canvas backing is additionally hand-numbered as 49 out of an edition of 50 artist’s proofs. The print is presented on stretched canvas, mounted to a black wooden frame backing with hanging wire to the verso.
