A pair of offset lithographs of Paris scenery, by artist J. Edwards. Included in this selection is Rue De Rivoli, depicting the tree-lined street filled with cyclists, and colored with broad swathes of green and orange, and Place Hotel De Ville, featuring a view of the corner facing the building, with painterly tones of green and gray under inky lines. Both are signed in plate, ‘J. Edwards ’55’ and ‘Edwards ’53,’ and are titled in blue script below the image. The pair are marked as being copyright Goes Lithographing Company, and are presented under glass in gray, cream, and gold tone frames with no hanging hardware.

Condition

- fair; toning and foxing to prints; frames have wear and staining.
