A signed original oil painting of a circus clown. The prtrait depicts the clown’s head and shoulders, with his har, hair, and ruffled garment rendered using a red and orange color palette. The work is signed in the lower right ‘Monk’. It is presented in a black-brown frame with canvas liner.
Condition
specks to canvas, small gap between canvas and frame along upper edge, small scratch to artist’s signature at lower right, frame has significant wear and chipping to frame especially along lower edge
