A collection of seven volumes of revised edition McGuffey Eclectic Readers. Among the best-known schoolbooks for children, these early readers were written by American educator William McGuffey (1800 – 1873). The original readers were first published in 1836; the revised editions were first copyrighted in 1879. Offered here are vinyl and paper hardbound copies of the Primer and the First Eclectic Reader through the Sixth Eclectic Reader published by H.H. Vail in 1909 – 1920.
