A 1950s drypoint etching on paper by listed Tennessee artist Louis Edward Jones (1878-1958). The piece, titled Winter Snow in the Smokies, depicts a mountain forest blanketed with snow in a palette of black against cream. The work is signed in graphite to the lower right of the plate mark, with an in-plate signature of ‘L.E. Jones 1950’ visible within the image to the lower left. It is additionally titled in graphite to the lower left of the plate mark. The print is presented unframed in a cream cardboard folio with a cutout window to display the image.

- foxing and toning to print and folio with age; item is presented unframed; edge wear to folio.
