Item Details
A watercolor and ink painting on paper of musicians. This painting on paper depicts a man clutching at a guitar in profile while a face peers from the background. The subjects are rendered with loose pools of mustard yellow and earthen green, which are defined by thin, energetic brushstrokes in black. To the lower left corner of the composition is a handwritten note of provenance. The painting is presented under glass beneath a single-layered mat in a silver tone metal frame with hanging wire to the verso.
