Matted Hand Colored Engravings on Paper of Birds
Item Details
A set hand colored engravings on paper of birds by S. Milne and George Cranston, dated early 19th century. This four piece collection includes prints depicting a variety of birds perched on the branches of trees. A few of the prints have the proper names of the birds depicted present to the lower corners and are signed in plate to the lower corners. Each is mounted under a single layer of white matting and presented in an acrylic sleeve with a white decal to the upper right corner labeled with the medium and the date.

- some discoloration to the paper and mats.
