Two 19th Century Dutch Marquetry Side Chairs

Item Details

A pair of late 19th century Dutch Rococo Style marquetry side chairs. These mahogany chairs feature a center urn-shaped slat with fruitwood marquetry depicting foliage, florals and a vase design. The marquetry continues along the scalloped top rail, sides, scalloped chair apron, the cabriole knees. The chair also includes a rose satin fabric on the drop in seat, and ball and claw feet.

- some stains on seats.
- damage to marquetry on seat apron.
