Item Details
A selection of two oil on canvas paintings by unknown artists. The first work depicts figures working in an open field surrounded by huts. This piece is unsigned and is presented as a stretched canvas. The second work depicts a village at night with light glowing from the windows of the huts. This piece is signed ‘Hoang’ to the lower left and is presented as a stretched canvas.
Condition
- image with blue sky has dirty and stained, paint loss to center of left side, top center; image with green sky has stretcher marks, dent to canvas to lower center and right along stretcher, yellowing to varnish, paint loss to lower center in river, along edges, to lower right; to small tears to canvas along top edge to left side, some paper stuck to canvas to upper left side.
