Item Details
A limited edition etching print on paper titled Oyster Dredging, West Mersea by listed English artist Arthur John Trevor Briscoe (1873 – 1943), created in 1925. Depicted are several oyster fishing boats scattered along the water dredging for oysters off the coast of the English city of West Mersea. Signed to the lower right in ink and numbered edition to the lower left reads ‘62/25.’ Presented under glass with an off-white mat, housed in a black and gold-rimmed frame.
Condition
- some gold paint loss to frame; minor scratch to the left side of the frame; some discoloration around the print.
