Wheel-Thrown Ceramic Bowls, Vase, and Seed Jar
Item Details
A group of wheel-thrown ceramic pots. This group contains two bowls, a vase, and a seed jar. Included is a large bowl finished in multiple glazes including red iron oxide and spodumene. A smaller bowl is possibly pit fired (black clay surface after firing) with a glossy white glaze that is slightly cracked and crazed. The smallest piece is a seed jar with glossy and matte glazed finish. The fourth piece is a vase with altered feet surfaced in blue and a burnt-orange glossy glaze. The vase appears to be signed illegibly on the underside; the other pieces are unsigned.
Condition
- to fair; one bowl has a chip in the rim and numerous scrapes and scratches.
