Vintage Hand Knotted Moroccan Prayer Rug
Item Details
A vintage hand knotted Moroccan prayer rug. This wool rug features diamond central medallions in cream, green, yellow and scarlet on a burgundy field filled with geometric designs. Bands of repeating geometric designs flank either end, leading to additional diamond medallions and brief compound borders. The major, unresolved diamond patterned borders are surrounded by colorful guard borders. This rug has natural wool fringe to one side and is unmarked.
