Graphite on paper

A set of two mid-century graphite drawings on paper from Mickey Mouse Comics cartoonist and listed California artist Arthur Floyd Gottfredson (1905-1986). Gottfredson worked on Walt Disney’s Mickey Mouse comic strip from 1930 to 1975. The works feature panel illustrations that depict Mickey’s unsuccessful ice-fishing attempts. Each is signed in black ink to the lower right. The works are presented unframed.
