An original still life oil painting on canvas by Cincinnati artist Charles W.L. Schlapp (American, 1895-1964). This turn of the century realistic style art depicts daily objects such as a milk pitcher, teapot and cup on a lined cloth. It is signed on the lower right C.W.L. Schlapp and dated 1917. The reverse canvas is pencil signed C.W.L. Schlapp. This art is presented in a vintage gilt wood frame with floral appliqué corner details. Charles W.L. Schlapp is a painter and lithographer, who studied at the Cincinnati Art Academy.
