A wooden stool by Shruti Impex Basni of Jodhpur, India. This nearly square stool features a cushion covered in cotton embroidered and brocaded fabric. The cover is quilted in panels of crimson, red, and other colors, with orange seams. Embroidery and brocading include teal sequins; floral and scrolling patterns in a variety of thread colors; silver sequins; and beadwork. The stool has rounded, black legs and is marked on the underside.

Condition

- some fraying at the cushion seams.
