An oil painting on canvas by Ronald Firkin (American, 1944 – 2008) of four Olympia Brass Band members. The four African-American men are shown wearing their band uniforms and seated on a bench with their instruments against a bright turquoise, pink, and white background. The painting is signed to the lower left and mounted with a white linen liner in a black wood frame fitted with two D-rings for hanging. The Olympia Brass Band is a famous New Orleans jazz band.
