Item Details
A gouache painting on paper by listed New York artist Sigmund Joseph Menkes (Polish, 1896-1986). The Abstract still life depicting an arrangement of a a wine glass, a tall lidded vessel, and a partial pie on a footed tray, against a wood panel and floral screen. It is signed in the lower right and presented under glass in a gold tone wooden frame. A brass artist name plate is found underneath, and eye-hooks and hanging wire are attached on verso.

- chipping and wear to the frame.
