A lithograph poster on paper of an original illustration by Peter Max (b. 1937) titled Life is So Beautiful – Stay Alive – Don’t Smoke Cigarettes. The poster is dated 1968 and was created as a public service announcement for the American Cancer Society. This psychedelic style print depicts a collage of figures experiencing life. The title of the print and the name of the artist are present to the lower and upper margins.

Condition

- two tears to top edge; tear to upper right corner; creasing and damage to all corners; wear to edges; small abrasions to top left; small tear, abrasion and crease to center of lower edge.
