A lithograph on canvas of an original painting titled The Doctor by British artist Sir Luke Fildes (1843 – 1927). This print depicts a doctor observing a child who is laying across a pair of chairs while her distraught parents look on. The print is titled to the lower middle and is marked ‘Compliments of The Arlington Chem Co Manfrs of Liquid Peptonoic’ to the lower right. The print is presented under glass in an elaborate gold tone wood frame and wire present to verso for hanging purposes.

Condition

- glass could be cleaned more thoroughly; minor wear to frame finish; minor tears to canvas.
