A machine made Persian style area rug. The rug features a central medallion in a palette of deep red, powder blue, taupe, and black that sits on top of an off white field. The field is populated by floral patterns, vines, and arabesque line work in a complementary palette that is enclosed by a compound border. The border features a herati style pattern with floral palmettes and vines throughout that sits on top of an off white background. The rug has an overcast edge with a wool fringe and is numbered to the back.
