Hand-Thrown Southwest Pottery with Doug Tafoya and Dick Masterson

Item Details

A pair of southwestern art pottery vessels. Included is a Doug Tafoya Santa Clara Pueblo. This selection includes a burnished and carved black clay bowl with geometric elements and a bear paw carved to one side, signed to the underside. Also included is a Dick Masterson lidded vessel, having figural and animal petroglyph patterning throughout over a groggy stoneware clay. It is marked to the underside ‘Masterson, 02.’
