A pair of offset lithographs on paper of American street scenes, after painted illustrations. These colorful images depict views of populated city streets, including Savannah Green Grocer, which features two women at a cart heaped with vegetables before the stoop of a pink brick building, and New Orleans Hurdy Gurdy with a group of children clustered about the instrument, shown standing on a street corner.Both works are signed ‘Sikat’ in plate to their lower margins, and are titled and marked ‘Published & Copyrighted 1953, by I. B. Fischer Co., New York CIty’ and ‘Printed in U.S.A.’ beneath the prints. These pieces are not framed.
