Item Details
A 1961 still life gouache and watercolor painting on paper by artist B.E. Schmidt. The piece depicts a vase of flowers in a palette of brown, orange and grey against a cream background. The work is signed and dated in graphite to the lower right. It is matted in blue and presented under glass in a decorative wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso.
Condition
- stain to right side of paper; toning to paper with age; minor wear and scratching to frame finish; gallery sticker to backing paper; craquelure present to gouache elements.
