Antique Simon Halbig Porcelain Head Doll

A sweet Antique Kammer & Reinhardt ‘W’ German bisque doll head with beautiful Simon Halbig eyes and a wooden ball-jointed body. This doll features a handpainted rosy complexion with painted upper and lower lashes, feathered brows, and four enameled teeth. The back of her head is marked Simon Halbig K star R with the number 50 at the base of the neck. Sadly though, she has had a fall, and lost 2 side teeth and developed a spider crack on the back of her head. She is on her original K*R body which has repainted legs, and she chipped toes on one foot. It is properly strung and she holds a pose well. S Her wig is newer and made of synthetic hair with a tag marked Myerlon. Circa 1915- 1920. She comes wearing modern clothing carefully stitched in an antique dress style complete with undergarments and stockings.
Condition
- wear to the wooden body showing repairs and repainting work along with some cracks to the paint. Body is vintage but may not be original.
- crack behind the right ear maybe a manufacture crack
- replaced non-original synthetic wig tagged Myerlon
- glass eyes appear stuck open with lashes barely visible.
