A set of five mid-century acrylic paintings on canvas board by New York artist Eugenie Weinberg. Included is a 1970 painting depicting five girls playing in a field. The work features bright hues of blue, yellow, pink, green and white; it is signed ‘E.R.W. 1970’ in yellow paint to the lower right, with the artist’s full name written in paint to the verso. Also featured is an abstract painting depicting rounded shapes in hues of blue, green, yellow, grey and red; it is signed in gold tone paint to the lower left, with the artist’s full name written to the verso. Other works include a purple and yellow mountain landscape signed ‘ERW’ in yellow paint to lower right; as well as an abstract floral work in hues of orange, green and yellow, signed ‘EW’ by hand to the lower right, with artist’s full name written to verso. The set also includes an unsigned abstract painting with multi-colored overlapping squares. All paintings in this set are presented unframed.
