Serigraphs After Piero Fornasetti

A pair of serigraphs on black cardstock after pieces by listed Italian artist Piero Fornasetti (1913-1988). Included in these black and gold tone pieces is an image of a woman’s face encircled by clouds and rays of light, as if it were the sun, titled Sole from Fornasetti’s series Tema e Variazioni and a smiling depiction of a sun with extending rays, titled Sole VIII from a series of work called Soli e Lune. These prints are presented behind gold tone mats with circular windows, and do not have hanging hardware.
Condition
- wear to mats; one mat is severely scratched to the lower right corner; light marks to prints.
