An antique child’s school desk by American Seating Company and chair. The cast iron desk frame features a wooden writing surface with a pencil groove and an inkwell cutout. It rises on curved legs. The side panel is marked ‘American Seating Company / Chicago USA’. Also included is a wooden desk chair with a cast iron base.
