A semi-antique hand-knotted Hamadan carpet runner. The carpet runner features an all over geometric herati pattern in a colorful palette of carnelian, rich brown, fuchsia, ochre, and steel gray upon an indigo field. Framing the field are two boteh guard strips in the field colors and a primary border featuring large scale boteh and floral on a lighter blue field. This has overcast edges and cotton warp fringe to each end. Unmarked.
