A limited edition hand colored aquatint on Whatman paper engraved by Norma Morgan and printed by Anderson-Lamb after the original watercolor by well listed and renowned Cincinnati wildlife artist John A. Ruthven (American, born 1924). Titled Passenger Pigeon it depicts a juvenile, an adult male, and an adult female of the species flying against the white backdrop. It is numbered 385 out of an edition of 500 in the lower left and signed below in the lower right by Ruthven. This is presented behind glass in a gold tone wooden frame that is wired for hanging. Artist and edition information is attached on verso.
