An early 20th-century oil painting on canvas portrait of a woman washing pots and pans at the table. The woman sits at a table with a pot in one hand and a cloth in the other. She wears a bright red banana on her head and plain white shirt with dark skirt. Rendered in thick impasto brush strokes. Signed to the lower right in paint. Presented without glass under a linen mat with gold sight edge, housed in a gold-tone wood frame.

Condition

- to fair; paint loss visible in some small areas; canvas is warped throughout; paint loss near the lower center of the canvas where it meets the frame; sight edge damaged in the lower center; marks and scratches present around the entire frame.
