A semi-antique hand-knotted Turkish area rug. This Ottoman Empire-influenced wool rug, attributed to Konya weavers, features an end-to-end tile lattice pattern in an abrashed palette of cream, camel, cranberry, and blue-sage. The field is variegated and sometimes abrashed in cream with blue-sage and camel inclusions. Lattices include abstract motifs in cranberry and camel, many with blue-sage inclusions. Selvedges are double overcast. Ends are serged. The rug is unlabeled.
