Vintage Hand-Knotted Turkish Sivas Accent Rug

Item Details

A hand-knotted Turkish sivas accent rug. This circa 1940s wool rug features a palette of pink, cornflower blue, brown, cream, sage green, and grey with a stylized rose medallion on a madder red field and corner spandrels. The primary border offers a running water pattern with a geometric floral pattern at each end. The rug is finished with double overcast selvedge edges and a wool warp fringe at either end. Unlabeled.
