Vintage Hand-Knotted Turkish Oushak Accent Rug
Item Details
A hand-knotted Turkish Oushak accent rug. This circa 1920s wool rug features a palette of rust orange, brown, mustard yellow, sage green, and cream with eight pointed star medallions in the field. A crab border is depicted as the primary border flanked by barber pole guard borders. The rug is finished with double overcast and braided selvedge edges, a kilim skirt, and a natural wool warp fringe at either end. Unlabeled.
