Vintage Hand-Knotted Turkish Sivas Area Rug

A hand-knotted Turkish Sivas area rug. This circa 1940s wool rug features tulips and rosettes across the field in a palette of red, black, green, pink, indigo blue, and brown. The border offers a floral lattice pattern. The rug is finished with double overcast edges and a wool warp fringe at either end. Unlabeled.
