An oil painting on panel landscape scene by listed French painter Willy Robert Beaujean (1912-1974), executed in 1950. Thick palette knife applications of vibrant oils fuse together in gestural movements. The resulting landscape is obscured into a melting composition of rich tones and abstracted forms. Signed and dated to the lower right in paint. Presented without glass, housed in a beveled wood frame with gilt sight edge.

- minor chip to the lower right corner of the frame; some scratches present around the frame.
