A pair of antique china dishes by Erdmann Schlegelmilch, made in Germany circa early 1900s. These shallow, oval bowls have flat bases and slightly rolled, wide rims. Each bowl features a hand-painted scene of a bird perched in a flowering branch, set against a background of bright green grass and warm-hued open sky. They both bear the maker’s mark to the base, and one is hand numbered 665/8530.
