Vintage Federal Style Sideboard by Bernhardt Furniture

A vintage Federal style sideboard by Bernhardt Furniture. This sideboard features a slightly extended front flair that extends over the double drawers that are to the center of the sideboard. The center drawers are flanked by a drawer and cabinet to each side. The side drawers feature lined dividers while the cabinets have an open interior. The drawers are constructed using dovetail joinery and each drawer and cabinet opens using drop pulls. The center drawers sit above a serpentine style apron. This pieces rises on marlborough legs with incised lines terminating in spade feet. The piece is marked ‘From Bernhardt Furniture Lenoir, North Carolina’ and ‘Finished With Dupont.’
