Chinese Metal Guanyin Statue

A Chinese metal statue of Guanyin, the Buddhist bodhisattva of compassion. This brass-tone figure is shown standing on a gust of wind, and holds out a fruit in her left hand. The piece has no maker’s marks.

Condition

- hands are loose, may have been glued on; finish is worn throughout; felt pad on underside is worn and falling off.
