Assortment of Printed and Hand Decorated Hand Fans

Item Details

A grouping of nine hand fans. This assortment includes paper fans with printed and hand painted decorations and wood handles. A highlight from the group is the fan with red butterflies, which has mother of pear accents to the handle, sticks, and fabric. The round fan is marked ‘Made in the People’s Republic of China’; the other fans are unmarked.

Condition

- general wear from age and use to all fans; small rainbow colored fan with women has small holes in paper to right; black fan with printed scenes has staining to base of fabric; red fan with butterflies has one stick loose and tearing of fabric to one side.
