Carved Wood Bust of Man with Flower in Headscarf
Item Details
An Indonesian carved wood bust of a Bali Chief. This unsigned sculpture depicts a shirtless Balinese man with a flower in his pointed head scarf. The smooth wood carving has been stained and oiled a deep rich brown.
Condition
small scratches to finish on left shoulder, chip to end of front-pointed fold of scarf, indent in back of left shoulder possibly from original wood knot
